A good father can instruct, discipline, and love. He can counsel, teach, and encourage. He can laugh with, cry with, and pray with his children. He can be the best conversation you have all day and the one who makes you laugh after you’ve sobbed your silly little eyes out.
I have such a WONDERFUL father. <3

And yet perhaps they are forcing themselves beyond their comfort zone to get better and to TRY. Yay for BSD readers, guys! At least they’re volunteering TO read.
I hate when the media makes The Hunger Games look like a battle for love. Get your bullshit fantasies away. This is about murder, over powered government, and a girl trying to change the way things are. News flash not every girls fantasy is to find true love.
the irony here is that our media is doing exactly what the Capitol did in the books; downplaying the murder, focusing on the bullshit love story
I’ve been frustrated with this for a while. It’s a complicated thing, being excited by the publicity and disliking it at the same time. Even with the romance aspect aside, these characters are meant to be empathized with, to hurt for and cheer for, not to glamorize and resell. Same with the actors and actresses playing the parts. They are PEOPLE, not fodder for gossip and objectification or even worship.
